Newhaven Fishing Trips

It has been a quiet winter aboard Ocean Warrior 3 due to last few months of wind and rain. Although, March has started well and we have managed to get out on a couple of good Newhaven fishing trips.
Chris Warner went out on one of Ocean Warrior 3 Newhaven fishing trips and caught this nice sized Pollock of 17lb 3oz. This was a good start to the month.

Really Wrecked SAC also managed to get out on one of their Newhaven fishing trips at last, as they had missed out on a few due to the recent weather.
They had a really good day and caught 40 Pollock throughout the day and Steve had the biggest of the day – well done Steve.

The fishing has really picked up over the last couple of weeks. This is because the weather is now starting to settle down and the water is starting to clear now.

|
The Pollock were caught while out on Newhaven fishing trips on the deep water wrecks, up to 30 miles offshore. They were caught using sidewinder lures while fishing on the drift right over the top of the wrecks.
