The
Ocean Warrior III
is
an Aquastar 38 Sportsfisherman, which is a
fully licenced and insured offshore wreck
and deep-sea fishing boat. Powered by twin
commercial Mermaids 500 HP engines, with
speeds over 22 knots, Ocean Warrior III
has a reputation for some of the south
coasts' best catches.
We are moored in Newhaven but fish off the
coasts of Eastbourne, Brighton, Newhaven

Ocean Warrior III sails from Newhaven,
a 90 minute drive from London (see

and a typical day pretty much takes you
mid-channel. We offer a number of options,
such as wreck-fishing, open ground and

Onboard equipment boasts Global
Positioning Systems, colour sounders and
sonar ground and fish finders, radios and
a sophisticated radar scanner to ensure
safety when the visibility is marginal.
The Global Positioning System (GPS) allows
the skipper to accurately position the
vessel over a wreck to within a few metres
to maximise your potential to catch.

Sea Fishing Reports - Ocean Warrior 3

Sea fishing reports from Ocean Warrior 3 off the south coast of Newhaven, West Sussex.
We have been out wrecking now for a while on the deep sea wrecks and we are still getting some nice double figured Pollock and we have also had some more Cod starting to show. Phil Pepper’s contribution to the sea fishing reports is that he had some nice Cod and Pollock to 13lb while drifting an offshore wreck. Ocean Warrior 3 sea fishing reports come out at least twice a month, they are included on the latest news page of our website and they will let you know what is around during the month.
Our latest sea fishing reports is that we have still had some nice Plaice fishing on the inshore muscle beds, we have found that using luggworm tipped with squid bait is working best at the moment along with using beads as attractors. Albert’s crew have also contributed to our sea fishing reports as they had a good day out Plaice fishing and had Plaice to 2lb 8oz, great fun on lighter tackle. This is a great alternative if we cannot get out to the deep sea wrecks.
We will update our sea fishing reports in a couple of weeks as we will be starting to get out Conger fishing next. There should be some big Eels around now so, keep an eye on the sea fishing reports for a big Eel!

Sussex Angling

Sussex angling aboard the sussex angling charter boat Ocean Warrior 3.
This month we have been catching some Cod and Pollock on the deep sea wrecks. Dave had a nice Cod of 13lb 8oz which he caught while drifting a lure over the wreck. Dave managed to catch a few nice Pollock as well on his sussex angling trip. Most of the Cod and Pollock came while the tide was running hard on the flood tide.
Brian also had some nice Pollock to 13lb 10, he caught them using the same technique as Dave. They caught them while they were fishing an old World War 2 which has broken up over the years, but it gives some great sussex angling.
